How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and confirm your reservations
- Send order confirmations, QR codes, and pickup details via WhatsApp
- Issue refunds to your Boxxed Credits balance
- Improve our platform and user experience
- Communicate platform updates and promotional offers, where you have opted in
WhatsApp Communications
By enabling WhatsApp notifications during registration, you consent to receiving the following communications from Boxxed via WhatsApp:
- Order confirmation, QR code, and pickup details upon a successful reservation
- Refund notifications when Boxxed Credits are issued to your account
- A daily notification per active restaurant partner when their box is published (maximum one message per restaurant per day)
- A post-pickup confirmation and rating prompt following collection of your order
In addition to the above, you may separately opt in to receive promotional communications from Boxxed. This is entirely voluntary and can be managed through your account settings.
You may withdraw your default WhatsApp consent at any time by contacting us at boxxedapp@gmail.com.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited data with payment processor Safepay solely for the purpose of processing your transactions securely. Restaurant partners receive only the information necessary to fulfil your order (name and order reference).
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

The Boxxed Service
Boxxed is a digital platform that connects customers with same-day surplus food boxes from partner restaurants in Karachi. Boxxed facilitates the reservation and payment process but is not responsible for the preparation, content, or quality of the food provided by restaurant partners.
Reservations
- All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- A reservation is confirmed only upon successful payment via our payment processor, Safepay.
- Each box is assigned a unique order number and QR code upon confirmation.
- Customers must present their QR code at the time of pickup.
- Pickup must occur within the designated pickup window specified at the time of reservation.
Pricing & Payment
- All prices are displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
- Payment is processed securely via Safepay.
- The sale price displayed reflects the discounted same-day price. The actual value stated is the estimated retail value of the box contents as provided by the restaurant partner.
- Boxxed reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Changes will not affect confirmed reservations.
Boxxed Credits
Boxxed Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. Credits may be issued as refunds for eligible cancellations and applied towards future purchases on the platform. Credits do not expire unless otherwise stated.
User Conduct
Users agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to circumvent payment processes, or engage in fraudulent activity. Boxxed reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these terms.
Limitation of Liability
Boxxed acts solely as an intermediary between customers and restaurant partners. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or allergen content of food items provided by restaurant partners. Customers with specific dietary requirements or allergies should exercise caution and contact the restaurant directly if needed.
Changes to Terms
Boxxed reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 17 May 2026We understand that plans change. The following policy governs cancellations and refunds on the Boxxed platform.
Cancellation Window
Customers may cancel a confirmed reservation within 15 minutes of making the reservation. Cancellations outside this window are not eligible for a refund.
How to Cancel
Cancellations must be made directly through the Boxxed app on the My Orders screen. Tap your active order and select Cancel Reservation within the 15-minute cancellation window.
Refund Method
All eligible refunds are issued exclusively as Boxxed Credits. Refunds are not returned to the original payment method (credit/debit card or bank account). Boxxed Credits will be added to your account balance and can be applied to any future reservation on the platform.
Refund Timeline
Boxxed Credits will be reflected in your account within 24 hours of a confirmed cancellation. You will receive a WhatsApp notification once your credits have been issued.
No-Show Policy
If a customer does not collect their reserved box within the designated pickup window, the reservation will be marked as expired. No refund will be issued for no-shows.
Restaurant Cancellations
In the rare event that a restaurant is unable to fulfil a confirmed order, Boxxed will issue a full refund in the form of Boxxed Credits and notify the affected customer via WhatsApp as soon as possible.
Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding your order (missing items, quality issues, etc.), please contact us at boxxedapp@gmail.com within 2 hours of your pickup time. We will review each complaint on a case-by-case basis.

Our Mission
Boxxed was founded with two goals in mind — and they are inseparable.
The first is simple: in an economy where the cost of a good meal keeps rising, we believe everyone deserves access to quality food at a price that makes sense. Boxxed makes that possible by connecting people with freshly prepared food from great restaurants at a fraction of its original price.
The second is something we feel just as strongly about. An enormous amount of perfectly good food is discarded every single day by restaurants at the end of service — not because it is unsafe or poor quality, but simply because the day is over. That food deserves a better ending. Through Boxxed, we hope to give it one.
Every box sold is a meal that did not go to waste. Every customer who opens that box is part of something larger than a transaction. We are building Boxxed because we genuinely believe a small shift in how people think about end-of-day food can add up to something meaningful — for their wallets, and for the world around them.
